Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities related to the lecture material management and AI explanation services provided by KeepUpClass (the “Company”).

Article 2. Definitions

The definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows:

“Service” means all services provided by the Company, including lecture PDF uploads, note taking, and AI explanations.
“User” means any member or non-member who receives services provided by the Company under these Terms.
“Member” means a user who has registered an account by providing personal information and can continue using the Service.

Article 3. Effect and Amendment of the Terms

These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise announced to members.

The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If amended, the effective date and reason for the change will be announced at least 7 days in advance.

Article 4. Membership Registration

Users may apply for membership by completing the registration form designated by the Company and expressing consent to these Terms.

The Company registers applicants as members unless any of the following apply:

The applicant previously lost membership eligibility under these Terms
The registration contains false information, omissions, or errors
Registration is deemed to cause significant technical difficulty for the Company

Article 5. Provision and Change of the Service

The Company provides the following services to members:

Lecture PDF upload and storage
Slide-by-slide note taking
AI-powered explanation features
Export features for lecture materials and notes
Any additional services developed by the Company or provided through partnerships

Article 6. Suspension of the Service

The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to maintenance, replacement, failure of information and communication equipment, or interruption of communications.

If the Service is suspended for the reasons above, the Company will provide notice without delay.

Article 7. Obligations of Members

Users must not engage in the following conduct:

Submitting false information when applying or updating account details
Misappropriating another person’s information
Altering information posted by the Company
Transmitting or posting information other than what the Company permits
Infringing copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
Damaging the reputation of the Company or third parties or interfering with their operations
Posting obscene, violent, or otherwise unlawful information in the Service

Article 8. Intellectual Property

Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without prior approval from the Company.

Article 9. Termination and Restriction of Use

Members may request termination of the service agreement at any time through settings or other methods provided in the Service, and the Company will process the request promptly in accordance with applicable law.

If a member terminates the agreement, all related data will be deleted immediately unless the Company must retain it under applicable law or the Privacy Policy.

Article 10. Disclaimer

The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters.

The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by reasons attributable to the member.
